We are seeking a qualified and competent HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our staff in the workplace. The HSE Officer will develop and standardize safety programs, sharing best practices at regular staff meetings. To succeed in this role, you must stay updated with the latest trends in health and safety and consistently implement these practices. A top-notch HSE Officer will maintain compliance with all safety regulations and ensure that all staff adhere to regulated standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and standardize safety programs.
- Share best practice techniques during regular staff meetings.
- Stay updated with the latest health and safety trends and implement them in the workplace.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
- Ensure every staff member complies with regulated standards.
- Write reports and policies for health and safety.
- Conduct data analysis and report statistics.
- Present and explain health and safety topics to staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HSE Officer.
- In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g., OSHA/EPA) and procedures.
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
- Experience in writing health and safety reports and policies.
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
- Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
- BSc/BA in safety management, engineering, or a relevant field is preferred.
- Certificate in occupational health and safety.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in this position.
