In this role, you will manage all accounts receivable tasks, helping to maintain the clinic’s financial health by ensuring accurate billing, timely payments, and efficient account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoicing: Generate and issue accurate invoices for services rendered, following up on any discrepancies to ensure correct billing.
- Payment Processing: Track and manage incoming payments, applying them correctly to accounts, and promptly recording transactions.
- Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts receivable, ensuring accurate records and resolving any outstanding balances.
- Collections: Follow up with clients regarding outstanding balances, addressing inquiries professionally to ensure timely payments.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular accounts receivable reports, providing insights into outstanding balances, payment trends, and cash flow.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications with clients, ensuring compliance with accounting and clinic policies.
- Support Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and relevant legal regulations, staying updated on best practices.
- Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with the finance and administration teams to support overall financial operations and provide updates on receivables.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably within healthcare or a related industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills.
- Communication Abilities: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work professionally with clients and team members.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve account discrepancies and respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
