Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and bank reconciliations.
- Record financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile discrepancies in accounts and resolve payment issues.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Stay updated with local tax regulations and assist in compliance efforts.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of UAE tax laws and regulations is an advantage.
