The ideal candidate will have experience in compounding and dispensing medications while offering exceptional customer care. Job Responsibilities:
- Compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising on interventions, and informing them of potential side effects.
- Instructing customers on the proper use and timing of prescribed medications.
- Conducting health and wellness screenings, including blood pressure and blood sugar checks.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date customer records.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Handling operational tasks such as verifying order entries, managing records of controlled substances, and removing expired or damaged drugs from inventory.
- Adhering to all legal regulations and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
- Performing additional administrative tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.
- Proven experience as a pharmacist.
- Flexibility with work location and schedule.
- Experience in OTC sales, cross-selling, and upselling.
- DHA license to practice as a pharmacist.
- Strong understanding of dosage requirements, administration, and pharmaceutical brands.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software applications.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
